SCBWI HOLIDAY READER STAGE

Thanks to our friends at the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, we'll have readers throughout the Festival at Mesa's Christmas Tree, a 30' tall Christmas tree that is the centerpiece of Mesa's annual holiday celebration, just for kids. Schedule TBA.

Natalie lives in Tucson but travels extensively throughout the western US appearing on panels and exhibiting at comic cons and book festivals.

Sara Fujimura spends a month each summer at her in-laws’ home in rural Japan with her teen-aged children. So it will be no surprise that she's written about Japanese culture and raising bicultural kids for many magazines, as well as, writing travel-related articles for the book TO JAPAN WITH LOVE.  Her young adult novel TANABATA WISH is (no surprise) set in Japan. You can also find Sara at local anime cons as her alter ego The Obento Lady.

I'm a local Tucson illustrator and author with over 20 books/coloring books out.  My books mainly focus on fantastical wildlife, creatures, dragons, and faeries.

Marcia Fine is the author of seven novels. After writing the only satirical series about Scottsdale, she has authored four historical fiction books about Poland, Portugal, Paris and Mexico.
